Correct alignment of patient in dental chair

The importance of supporting the neck during dental procedures was recently reinforced by a chiropractor who rang to say that vertigo had been triggered whilst having dental treatment. She was feeling very nervous about going for her next appointment, so wanted to see if our memory foam headrest would make the experience a better one. She already had a lumbar support, so just purchased a headrest. I asked her for feedback and she said it made a huge difference, along with a lumbar support.

She said: 'Dentists need to be educated on patient comfort including the importance of neck and head alignment during treatment as well as lumbar support'.  Whether this is something that dentists are taught, I do not know, but I am keen to find some articles for reference.

Our memory foam cushions are designed specifically for the dental chair.  They have been designed to support and comfort the patient during treatment, filling voids - behind the neck (headrest) the hollow of the back (backrest), the knees (knee support), holding heads steady (u-shape), cushioning the body (full body cushion).  In addition, raising children to the right height for treatment (child booster seat).

These cushions are suitable for all treatment chairs, not only giving support, but giving a feeling of comfort and ultimately relaxing your patients, making them easier to treat.
