You may think that this is going to be a lengthy process, but you would be wrong. At a recent hands on course in London, Dr Claudio Novelli, an aesthetic dentist, based in Florence, Rome, Venice, Milan and Leeds, explained how it only takes him 15 minutes to fit an edelweiss veneer. Having fitted over 3,000 in 3 years, he will of course be an expert at it, but practice makes perfect.
At 15 minutes per veneer, this means that a patient can, within 90 minutes have 6 veneers fitted and walk out with confidence, knowing they have a beautiful edelweiss smile.

edelweiss DIRECT SYSTEM OCCLUSIONVD
The pre-fabricated, contourable universal occlusion shapes were based on a study of all shape and size variations of natural tooth anatomy, for lower and upper arches.
The result is ultra thin, anatomical occlusions in three sizes (S, M & L). The glass component in the composite filler and laser treatment of the surface give the material nature-like mechanical properties (biomechanics), and the material is also biocompatible (biology). edelweiss PAEDIATRIC CROWNs
The edelweiss PAEDIATRIC CROWNs are made of densly-filled composite. They are laser-sintered, antibacterial and have a high plaque-resistance. These crowns are biocompatible and have the same abrasion as natural teeth, therefore they do not damage the antagonists.
The mesial and distal margins of the edelweiss PAEDIATRIC CROWN follow the natural gingival-line of the milk teeth, perfectly imitating natural milk teeth in form and function. The pre-fabricated, bio-esthetical morphology permits a quick and safe treatment with maximum aesthetic results.
The treatment is minimally invasive and takes only one appointment. The edelweiss PAEDIATRIC CROWN enable dentists to get a perfect restoration for every milk tooth: anterior, premolar and molar, each in different sizes.
edelweiss DIRECT SYSTEM POST & CORE
The edelweiss POST & CORE system is a laser sintered monoblock which avoids the wedging effect. The posts have a conical shape for perfect post space adaptation. The translucency of the fibre free post, supported by the lens design, allows uninterrupted light transmission for complete polymerization.
The adhesive bonding also avoids the wedging effect. The preparation of the core feels like preparing the natural tooth and makes handling easier. The opaque buildup in A1 also offers different anatomical forms. The buildup from the edelweiss POST & CORE has a rough surface for better retention of the clinical crowns. It is possible to carry out the treatment in just one session, which is both time and cost effective for patient and dentist alike.
