Iâve been using WAM for nearly 15 years now.
I like EtchMaster because…
WAMkey â Itâs a life changer!
I have been using WamKeyÂź for many years and teach the simple technique for crown and bridge removal on my courses.
Three easy steps:
1. Cut a small buccal or lingual window to accommodate the WamKeyÂź.
2. Cutting along the cement line, go as deep as the centre of the occlusal plane
3. Do not use a lever action, simply rotate the Wamkey 1 and the crown uncements
Should the WamKeyÂź 1 rotate within the core, use the slightly larger WamKeyÂź 2. You will only sometimes need to go up to WamKeyÂź 3 but do have it just in case
WamKeys are robust and autoclavable so if you buy a set (WamKeys 1,2 and 3), it will probably last your career.
I donât think there is a better, more reliable or predictable method for premolar and molar crown removal, itâs a life changer!

Can’t do without it now.
â I have just bought my second Etchmaster to fit to my second treatment room.
I got the first one a year ago and I had to keep moving it from surgery to surgery, but it does not make sense.
We are a mercury- free practice and virtually every restoration we carry out is bonded, I call it âbondodonticsâ,
So it is of prime importance that I have the âEtchmasterâ at hand every time. Can’t do without it now.â
Cheers

Dr Ed Moncrieff wouldn’t be without his EtchMaster
I have been using the EtchMaster for over a year now and would thoroughly recommend it, it gets used for nearly all my adhesive dentistry and is particularly useful for low retention Class B lesions and Cerec treatment.
The refills are quick and easy too fit onto the special adapter, and the metal nozzle can be conveniently bent to aim the flow exactly where you want it.
I would now not be without this product.

I would recommend it to everyone.
Dear Melanie
Yes, the EtchMaster is excellent. It is by far the best sandblaster I have used (previous was Ronvig). The powder spray is precise and scatter is virtually none, keeping the rest of the mouth âcleanâ. It is easy to use all except for removing the used capsules. Pulling back the locking ring is stiff and tricky with one hand and then trying to pull out the capsule with the other hand is difficult. Therefore, I give it 9 out of 10; it looses the one point because of the removal problems of the capsule. However, I would recommend it to everyone.

Paul
EtchMaster is worth every penny.
This is a really neat bit of kit
Hi Brian
Thanks for asking me to try out the Etchmaster. This is a really neat bit of kit. As you know we use air abrasion quite a lot but the machine is quite big and sometimes we just want to etch an area to improve the adhesion, and to be honest, we sometimes donât use it as much as we should.
The Etchmaster fits on the delivery unit in place of a normal handpiece and is just so easy to use. Weâve now used it to clean fissures prior to fissure sealing and Iâm routinely using it when placing veneers.
I still use the main air abrasion machine for cavity prep, as itâs not strong enough for that. I think every practice should have one!
Kind regards
Teresa
