State of the art in the fact that they use the same process of laser sintering and vitrification as used for their direct veneers, occlusion forms and paediatric crowns,
The final blocks consist of a single glass phase, embedded in a resin matrix.
The end result is that the aesthetic properties are similar to that of feldspathic glass ceramic, withoug the fragility of pure ceramics.
They have the strength and look of ceramics, but as with polymer based materials, they remain flexible and repairable.
